The center for Arts and Aesthetics
is the only one of its kind in the country where open studio
facilities and Artist-in-Residence programs are offered.
For beginners foundation course as well as creativity and design
courses of five years are offered to develop the senses and
skills of children.
Many new activities like Graphic workshop, Sculpture, Painting
advance courses are introduced from time to time.

The Foundation Course
This is a program for both graduates
and under graduates. The aspiring young artists are
offered comprehensive art training with a certificate
of achievement in fine arts. The program is planned
to develop awareness through imparting the fundamentals
of art with supporting knowledge of mediums. The course
deals in all the mediums of the fine arts such as drawing,
painting, clay modelling (sculpture), printmaking and
a brief history of world art.

The Children's 5-year Preparatory Course
This is a 5 year course(minimum admission
age is 8 years) conducted by the centre to give children
an awareness and sensitivity to art. The children are
engaged in drawing, painting, fairytale illustration,
mask making paper-sculpture and introduced to various
mediums. |
