studio facilities

Indian Artists:

Studio facilities are available to Indian artists in the field of painting, sculpture and printmaking. These studios satisfy the needs of artists in the studios and interactive space create commercial atmosphere amidst lush green backgrounds. The Sculpture department is well equipped so as to enable work in stone carving, metal casting, wood, terracotta and plaster.

The print making department houses Lithography Press, Etching, Woodcut and Screen Printing facilities. The painting studios are adequately furnished as it also has a library and an archive of visual material.

The center is often used as a stepping stone by aspiring artists to further their contact in the art world and for gaining access to scholarships like INLAKS, The Human Resourse Scholarships etc.

Kanoria posts a call for students seeking scholarships twice a year, once in November-December and once in May-June. Kanoria's fortunate location in Ahmedabad allows easy accessibility to India's major art centre- Baroda, and accessibility to Mumbai and Delhi where art dealers are based.
